A BIG Hiii!!! to everyone who have opened my blog once again (or may be the first time)....w8!! why all this???? fine ,fine... Heyya!!

So this time it's for the RYLA CULTURAL CAMP that i attended along with 20 students of my school.....It took place on the 10th &11th of October this year in Dakshin Chitra, Tamilnadu's one of the famous cultural heritages.. These two days were really, two wonderful and memorable days of my life.. The fun ,The experience we had were just extraordinary....So to begin RYLA stands for Rotatory Youth Leadership Awards.. We were as i has already told a group of 20 people who started our trip on a sunny saturday afternoon...From there everything started taking shape.......

DAY 1 - SATURDAY

1:00 P.M = We boarded our bus to the much awaited culturals of this year...We reached Dakshin Chitra by almost a hour past that time..

2:15 P.M = We were the last school to be registered with seven schools preceeding us in that list..We were given separate rooms for Boys and Girls, were we unpacked our backpacks and were led to the seminar hall immediately..Thanks to our bus driver, the speech by the respected members on the diaz was almost over, as one or two were left to......

3;15 P.M = The speech completely over , it was time for group activities, were we were separated into groups with people whom we have never met before....It was really borin, but it was at the end, I realised the fruit of the activities..I knew almost each and evry person of my group which comprised of about 20 people....The group activities were just a blast!!!!

5:30 P.M = It was tiffin time, and we were given hot Samosas and Bondas.....it got over really soon and then came the intresting segment.......

6:15 P.M = So, any guesses, what this segment is about?????? ........fine,,fine,It was for "KAROKE" and students who were so far just bathroom singers took to the stage for singing....of course , a little blood oozed out of everyone's ears , but that can be managed ..It was almost 2 hours of complete fun and music..

8:30 P.M = It was Dinner time and we were served with some delicious dishes which included "KESARI" - The highlight item of the whole dinner..

10:00 P.M = It was a little dissappointing campfire as much expectations were put down ....It consisted of some boring Antakshari....and some talent exhibiting show which failed to attract most of the atttention...That's it for day 1 and anticipation grew bigger as the forth coming day was huge!!!!!!

SUNDAY

6:00 A.M(but actually around 6:30, 6:45) = we started off with yoga session,which was a great embarrasement to fat people ,as nothing much dawned for them except the breathing exercise..

7: 15 A.M = The long session was succeded by some sour coffee, after which everyone took their bath and returned to the seminar hall

8:25 A.M = "BREAKFAST" time ....and it was a pretty decent breakfast with idli's and vada's..It was succeded by the most anticipated event.....

9:30 A.M =. YEAH!!! It was culturals......Our school was the last to register but, were first to perform...We were given 1/2 an hour and we jus rocked the stage!!!!...Myself and my friend Harynator, performed a skit, which was a Paradise on Indian politics..Our school Musical band took over the stage, which took the show away from there...Not to forget the fusion between our drummer "ISSAC" and tabla player "SABARI"...Every school took their turn and everyone almost rocked the stage!!!!!!

12:30 P.M = It was a lunch , which many did not like consuming and were eagerly awaiting for the results

1:20 P.M = We listened with our ears wide open, to an inspiring speech on leadership from a counselling expert Shobana maam...which was followed by a humourous speech by Mr. Sekaran ,that made our ribs ache...

3:10 P.M = It was valedictory, and guess what ....... Our school won the Overall Performance trophy...We group of 20 students were the most happiest persons in the world at that time ....Nothing bothered us ..It was our 4th in a row....It was very special...

Also our school students bagged the best performer award for Singing,Dancing......and i was given the "BEST RYLA BOY AWARD"

4:30 P.M = It was all over ...the Ice broken .... and we had a never forgettable trip of our schooling life.....

As the time keeps on running , at one point of time everyone feels ...."how it would be if i can re-live a time period of my life.....Of course it's not possible because, Isaac has not invented the time machine nor has anyone else...and the "Sands of time" are just fantasy...But still if i would get a chance later in my life to re-live any time period of my life..definetly RYLA camp would be consideration......

15 YEAR OLD RELIEF OR 17 YEAR OLD BURDEN

The very hotly discussed topic of today, by all the tenth going matriculation students, teachers and educational advisers, is nothing but this "is 10th standard board exams canceled???",and the anxiety over this topic has been increasing as central board has already cancelled their boards . The down written article is views of two important persons related with this topic..Want to know who and what it is???….come on with me into this entharalling ride in reviewing the hotest topic of today’s education world..

When I asked this question to my neighbour who’s going to take his boards this year, his response was very impulsively a negative one…and when I asked him the reason.. He replied me “ Anna I am afraid, There is immense pressure on me behalf of my Family and Relatives. I don’t know what consequences that i might face, if I don’t get good marks, and if you’re a topper it is even more worse ….and he goes on speaking to me as if i have thepowers to cancel the exams in the next day’s State Legislative Assembly . This chat with my friend, led myself to think more deeply into this subject. But if you look in the place of a 10^th standard boy whose in the age group of 15-16, the pressure he faces is tremendous and first of it’s kind.

Can he tackle it ????.... is the question that I put forward to another neighbour of mine, who is doing her B.tech in Vellamal Engineering College.

Her answer was a more interesting one….she replied to me “ I had the same feeling of that boy, when I was going to take up my 10^th boards [ I too had the same feeling, I said to myself and continued listening to her….], but once I wrote my first board exam, The entire fear of board exams[examophobia] that burdened me throughout the whole year, had gone out just after the 2 and a half hour language paper. I felt them more easier than my school exams ..i wrote them with much ease and more pleasure” was her delightful and truthful answer. She also said “ Once you know what boards are you can take them with complete confidence, and I think that made me achieve my 97% in my 12^th boards. I purely accept that it is very hectic and tedious for a boy or girl of 15, but once they thrive out of it, will they realize the fruit behind it. I fell that it is very important to have the 10^th boards functioning in full swing without no questions of canceling it”.

The most pathetic person at this situation is RAHULKANNAN [ that’s me] who patiently listened to two important persons who’s opinion , will be very useful to the government at this juncture. I am still in a state of confusion, as for how to conclude this article and for the same reason i leave it in the hands of the so-called government who have been governing the people of TamilNadu for the past three years. I hope and firmly believe that they can take a decision better than that of the mine which i would not like to disclose.[even if I do that …the article will extend for a few more lines and that’s all…]

Whether the boards get cancelled or not, this article is just a opinion from few people and also due to my boredom that i decided to take up this topic , knowing the fact that it is not going to be of any use!!!!

UNNAIPOL ORUVAN - REALLY A MAN LIKE US!!

Well guys once again i managed to get the tickets for my favourite actor's film UNNAIPOL ORUVAN on the first day. My quaterly exams are still on stream but still i manged to watch the film ..thaanks to Ramzan. Well to begin with Kamal Hassan, in this venture takes on terrorism. . Kamal who plays a common public does not disclose his name at all throughout the entire film. He as usual has done complete justice to his role. A very short and fast paced which last's exactly for 1 hour and 45 minutes. " I am sure you are aware of the czeckslovakian art of plastic explosions " begins kamal Hassan standing on the roof top of a half built building which is all most ten times the height of Abirami theatre,where he assembles a set of costly electronic gadgets and cleverly use a internet router and 5 different sim cards in the name of people who are history and blackmails Mohan Lal (I.G RAGHAVAN MARRAR) to realease 4 important terrorist whom he address's as his co-mate and who are connected with major bomb blast around the world, failing which he would blow up all the 5 plastics bombs around the chennai city.The film moves in a break neck speed and at point a smart police inspector narrows down on kamal and comes searching for him into the half built building but returns empty handed. The climax is where the subject of the whole film comes to limelight.Kamal orders all the terrorist to be assembled in the aerodrome and ask's them to get in a jeep. From this point the climax starts..Is kamal really a terrorist???, what will happen to the 5 bombs???, Will Mohan Lal diffuse them???, Why is Kamal doin all this?? the answers to these questions are thre in the seat edging 20 minutes climax of the film.Kamal emotional dialoques at the climax are heart rendering and one of the best's in tamil cimemas..

As far as the crew is concerned everyone has done a very neat job.Mohan Lal has managed to talk good tamil(definetly better than that of Tamanha and shriya) .The camera works arenot to be forgotten as the shots from Kamal's point of view are excellent. With just one song taking place in the film, Shruthi hassan has excelled in her background scoring.Chakri toleti's debut has a director has started off in a high note.

With everything going the film's way,it's sure to be one of the meaningful cinemas in tamil industry..So get up everyone and see the film as a way to promote good cinema

A BLOODY WEEKEND....

TIS.... weekend tat jus passed away was really a very miserable one for those who chose to see the film KANDHASAMY(i was 1 of them) which raised a hell a lot of expectations but failed to deliver it..It was saturday, the 22nd august, when me and my friends decided to go to this movie and it was actually 8 who went for the matnee...to our suprise the theatre was house full for the matnee tooo...as usual i failed to acquire permission from my house and came on pretext of calling on my friend's house. The first hurdle comes here ........I had physics tution at 5:00 p.m and my show started at 2:30..it was a 3 hour long film where vikram tries to explain,what already tamil cinema has been showing for the past say 10 years..(except a few) there was no susupense in the muvie as everything happening was exactly what we thought would happen.. The film had a very long bullshit number of 8 songs, some of which need'nt have taken place at all..The story in a nutshell is the story of "ROBINHOOD"..who steals money from bigshots and delivers it to the poor.. which was what vikram was doing for almost 3 hours... At last when all came to an end all the people's expression was " edho oru vatti pakkalam pa" and some were like " idhuku poi 100 rupaa kudithu parthomae machan !!!" and some kids were " hey vikram getha parantha la...." IT was 5:30 and i returned home 15minutes past that time..i was shocked to see my MOM sitting in the room and giving a stare,(and the question her eyes delivered was when is your physics tution???) i was searching for reasons... i did'nt know what to tell her ....why i was late???... I somehow said her some lame excuses ,the result of which was horrible( but still she does'nt know i went for the film).. I cut my tution, but was studying in my house sitting before her. As time passed away , came the shocking news, my father came home and said everybody to get ready as we were going for KANDHASAMY night show....i could'nt refuse as it would raise a doubt in everyone's mind as for why a cine freak is not willing to come for a new realease .... I had no other go than to watch the movie a second time..
